I have a problem in crawling an external site,and appreciate if someone help me.

SharePoint crawls all the pages and all the root addresses(http://***/***/***/) are crawled successfully but for all the urls that ends with .aspx(http://***/**/***/**.aspx) , it returns a warning saying "The filtering process could not load the item. This is possibly caused by an unrecognized item format or item corruption."

aspx File name extension is already in File Types setting.

I would appreciate if you have any thoughts in this regard.

But that post is about exclude an aspx page(which I guess is a share point page) from crawl.

In my case the external site is a .net website and sharepoint crawls all its pages, but can not index in not default pages returning above warning on Crawl Log.

All pages with url like ****/***/***/ has a successful crawl but all ***/***/**.aspx have above warning.

I did a testing today, I renamed one of the pages that had the warning to Default.aspx and sharepoint crawled it without any problem.

So I am sure that there is nothing wrong with the page, it's just the url!
