I have been searching around the internet and haven't come across a satisfactory answer to my question so I thoughtI would ask it here... Basically I have 4 corporate sites in 4 different states. I want to be able to share documents via Sharepoint Server 2007 between all the sites. However I do not want the 3 branch offices all accessing the Sharepoint server over the internet ( and using up precious bandwidth ). I was hoping there was a solution whereby I could set up my first sharepoint server in my main office, populate it with content and then replicate that content to local servers at each of the branch offices. But it also needs to be set up in such a way that documents added to any of the 4 servers are replicated to all the other servers. Is this possible? What other options for Sharepoint server replication do I have? Thank you in advance.

If your question is just for the replication of content databases, you can think of SQL 2005 mirroring concepts. Please check the following urls From your note, i can interpret that you are planning for availability for your sharepoint farm. Hi Richard, How you configured Sharepoint replication ? I am having same scenario just like yours but I cant afford any third party solution so I am looking for native methods to achive the same. Please share your views with me.

I haven't found a good solution yet. The third party solutions are very expensive (Syntergy wanted $25,000 for the first license) :hocked look on face:: Since the customer that this solution was intended for went the direction of a fully functional content managment system, this got put on my back burner.

I have the same issue over here. The third party solution for sharepoint replications are more expensive than sharepoint itself. Please post possible solutions on this forum.
