Sharepoint Sub Folder Permission
Dear All,,
I've a trouble with sharepoint sub folder permission, somehow my subfolder didnt appear in my document library, so i logged in as site administrator and i found several sub folders (not all sub folders), so i changes its permission to inherit with parent,
and it works well.
However since the sub folder suddenly disappeared, some sub folder still didnt appear even i logged in as site administrator. I suspect its permission, but i dont know how can i change permission when it still disappeared?
or maybe something causing it other than permission issue? how can i check it?

are you talking about you logged in as "site owner" or "site collection administrator"?
one thing to check is the library views. they can be configured to not show folders, just items. This doesnt sound like your issue but just another thought.
It is possible that the site owner group has had custom permissions applied so even when logging in as a member of this group, you may not see a sub folder. THis is also unlikely but you can check the permissions of the site owers group
If you are logged in as site collection administrator, you should see everything.
your question doesnt quite make sense. you say you logged in as site admin and found several sub folders. usually that means someone has set permissions on folders. you can change that by selecting set permissions from the ribbon when on that folder location
in the library, or doing what you did and cancelling the sub folder permissions and changing to inherit from parent.
later you say that some sub folders didnt appear even when logged in as the site admin. If so, how do you know the sub folders exist if they dont show up even when logged in as site admin? this seems to contradict what you wrote before that you saw the folders
when logged in as site admin.
the only other idea i can think of is if someone deployed content to this library as part of a feature and set it to be "hidden". im not even sure that can be done on a folder level, but it can be done on a list level or content type level.
