I build a custom WebPart to populate a list from database. When the list is clicked, I want to pass the selected value to my reporting service report in the report viewer webparts. Is it possible? If it is, what kind of parameter the reporting service viewer webparts expecting? Thanks Stanley csh

Hi stanley, If you are embedding the Report Viewer Web Part in a Web page, you should set the Report URL property to a specific report. If you do not, the Report Viewer will display instructions for linking to a report. You cannot customize or remove the instructions. So to your question, currently, it seems we cannot pass the selected value from your custom list to report in the report viewer webparts.
