Site Server OS reinstall
I currently have our site server on Server 2003 R2 x86. We want to upgrade it to Server 2008 R2, but of course you can't do an in place upgrade to that so this is basically moving it to a new server. What would be the best way to go about doing this?

It's basically a backup and restore action ... that has been discussed multiple times, for example: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmgrbackup/thread/c632ab94-7a7c-436f-8f9d-faefa53cb0bd

Here's a pretty good article on moving to new hardware. http://myitcommunity.com/cs2/blogs/cstauffer/archive/2007/10/03/replacing-sms-site-server-hardware-with-new-server-hardware.aspx John Marcum | http://www.TrueSec.com/en/Training.htm | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum
