We understand that with SMS 2003, an user on the domain can request software via web by using a software request web form to have software installed on thier systems.Looking to see if same/similar action can be done for users on a domain that have SCCM installed and need a particular software app that is available for distribution, but only if approved.

Hi,There were no built-in software portal with SMS 2003 so it had to be 3rd. party solution you saw (or perhaps the one from BDD).
