Software Update Point Client Install
Hi,
I'm trying to enable Software Update Point Client Install,
2.In the Group Policy editor, navigate to Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / Windows Update, and then open the properties of the setting Specify intranet Microsoft update service location.
Is already enabled and already has the WSUS FQDN with the port at the end
some of the internet client has the DMZ FQDN
If I turned on the GPO, how will that effect already published information on the client?
How can I prevent workstation from rebooting if they had no BITS installed? if SCCM client already installed with the same version, no atempt will happen to install the client?
when the workstations will attempt to install the SCCM Client if they did not have it? at logon or policy refresh? Thanks
Regards,

Hi Said,
You need to install BITS prior to installing the client or using another installation method.Kent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/ | The Danish community for System Center products

Hi Kent,
please explain how the GPO will effect Internet Only Client?
I looked at one of the Internet Only client and I did see DNS of the DMZ Server, would the GPO right over that info, and how would that effect that Internet only SCCM client?
Thanks
