Software Updates Not Deploying Properly
Good Afternoon All -
I know that my subject is vague and that there are many variables, but I've seemingly always had issues with deploying updates. Here's an example of what I did most recently:
Step 1: About 3 days ago when the new patches were released, I created a new Search Folder for updates in the past month.
Step 2: I created a new share, selected the new updates, then Downloaded them. This process took about 30 minutes.
Step 3: With the same highlighted updates, I choose to Review / Accept License Terms them (not sure if required, but I did anyways)
Step 4: Again with selected updates, I choose to Deploy them. I chose a template which I had made, set the schedule to deploy in the evening hours with it expiring at about 2am 48 hours later.
The collection which the template deployed it to had about 20 computers in it. 3 days later (and after the deployment deadline), only 2 updates have been installed on one computer.
Any ideas what I may be doing wrong? Thanks!Ben K.
