Subreport parameters not refreshing
i have a main report with 4 cascading parameters that are all passed to a sub report. When I select the 4 parameters form the main report and view the sub report everything is fine. however if I go back and rerun the main report, selecting only 1 or 2 of the parameters, the sub report holds onto the old values for parameters 3 and 4. I tried setting "always refresh" in the parameter properties but that didn't help.

Hi Do you have execution caching on the sub report? You can look under properties - execution i- when you have the sub report open Seth http://lqqsql.wordpress.com

Hi jimnsov, Do you mean there is a link in the main report and click the link would navigate another report with pass all 4 parameters? If so, I’m still confused that selecting only 1 or 2 of the parameters, the sub report holds onto the old values for parameters 3 and 4. Based on my testing, since 4 parameters in the main report are cascading, if first 2 parameters are changed, we are need to select next 2 parameters to view the report. So, could you elaborate the parameters settings in both main report and linked report, and then I will try to reproduce this scenario and try to figure it out. However, if you have already resolved the issue, could you please shared what you have done? It would be helpful for others with the same issue. Tony, I had deleted this post with an "invalid issue" reason, so others would not spend time on it. Why is it still here? It can be closed Thanks
