System Center Data Protection Manager 2007 Agent Issue
I'm having a problem with my System Center Data Protection Manager. I am running the DPM on Windows 2008 server with SP2 and DPM is patched up to SP1 as well. I've even run the hotfix for the SP1 too. I've installed an agent on our SQL Server and when I got to setup a Protection Group it isn't finding the SQL Server. The server is Windows 2003 Server with SP2 and all other current updates. Our SQL Server is 2005 with SP3 installed on it. On my other servers with a SQL Server on it, it's finding them but not on this particular server. I've checked to make sure all the services are running for SQL Server. The SQL Server VSS Writer is on and so is the SQL Swerver Browser. I'm at a loss as to why my DPM Server can't see the SQL instance on this server. Anyhelp would be awesome! Thank you in advance!!!Jordan Castille
