Hello,
I realize this could really be a wide open discusssion but I had a couple of questions regarding some Task Sequence Failures.
For the most part, my test machines have completed the OS Deployment Task Sequence I've created and, for the most part, they've all been bare metal, out of the box. But every so often I'll grab another machine, already a Windows2000 machine and a member of my domain, I'll either advertise the task sequence to it or I'll import its MAC address into SCCM and boot to PXE.
My issue is, these ones that I grab from the floor will fail and will boot to a black screen alerting me that there is no BOOTMGR file, "press ctl+alt+del to restart."
From the Advertisement Status I can see "successfully formatted hard drive..." but after that I have no info. I realize there are tons of other questions to be answered first but I'd be happy with even just a broad theory.
Thank you!
