Which step fails... I'm guessing Hard Disk problems, as the error is "catastrophic failure"

I see you use Windows 7 home premuim and as far as I know ConfigMgr 2007 does not support it. Otherwise if you have the same error with a supported OS (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee344146.aspx) you can look at this  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2009592 which describes the same error and the related solution.

it's not listed as a supported OS here - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc766226%28WS.10%29.aspx

what does your SMSTS.log file say ?

Yes, because the ConfigMgr client should be installed during the deployment and it is supports Windows 7 but only these versions : Pro, Ultimate and Enterprise as described in the link.

Windows 7 home premium is not supported as SCCM Client... That indicates me to not supported for OS deployment with SCCM...

At which part in task sequence you get this failure? That way it's easier for troubleshooting.

Have you already opened the smsts.log for more information? It can be found in X:\Windows\Temp\Smsts\Smsts.log

Just make sure command support (F8) is enabled in your boot images before OSD.

you can always drag the Task Sequence error to one side, and the step actually failing will show behind.

My case Partition Error, I created 2 partition in Task Sequence, C :drive is 100GB D: remaining Disk, but i set Hard Disk size in Virtual Machine is 80 GB so task sequence getting failed.

SOLUTION : later changed hard disk size to 200GB, Started loading OS without Any error.

As mentioned above, it is an issue with the drive partition size.

To resolve; the drive size should be greater than the partition size specified in the task sequence Format and Partition Disk step.
