what is main different Task vs Project Task? we are used codeplex SPnotification.wsp (http://sptasknotification.codeplex.com) features in our server. it is displayed only Task settings. not displayed in Project Task. If possible to enable Project Task in this feature. How can i do this?

Tasks and Project Tasks are very similar. The main difference is that Project Tasks uses a gantt chart view by default, and I think some fields are slightly different to help support this. A more important difference in this case though is that they both have a different List Template ID and content type. I'm not familiar with the SPnotification project but it's probably safe to say that it looks for entries either based on their content type or the List Template ID of their parent list. This is why it's not finding the Project Tasks item, and unless it comes with some configuration tool to let you specify these then you would need to modify the code for the software itself to make it work.
