Hi there Sebastian, The first step in ensuring your SharePoint instance can handle files greater than 50mb in size is to alter it in the web application: Am assuming you've already done this bit: 1. Open Central Administration 2. Open the Application Management tab. 3. Choose Web Application General Settings 4. Scroll down until you find the section labeled Maximum Upload Size. 5. Changed it. There is a good blog you should read concerning changing the upload size suggest you read it here: http://blogs.msdn.com/joelo/archive/2007/06/27/file-name-length-size-and-invalid-character-restrictions-and-recommendations.aspx Now, you should also change the IIS timeout sessions which by default is 120 seconds. If you dont you may receive an error message (Timed Out) So, change the IIS Timeout settings. 1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. 2. Double-click the name of the server that is running Windows SharePoint Services. 3. Double-click Web Sites. 4. Right-click the virtual server that you are restoring to, and then click Properties. 5. On the Web Site tab, in the Connection timeout box, change the setting to 65,000 seconds. 6. Click OK. For more information on that go here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/925083
