Third party patch management
Does System Center Essentials patch non Microsoft software? The SCE site mentions third party capability, is this in the real world yet? Adobe products and Java are primary concerns. Thanks

Hi,SCE has a couple of ways to patch your systems:1:) Use the "Add update" Wiazard. This give you the option to add an update file (exe or msi) and send it a a group of computers2:) Add an existing partner update catalog. As of today you have Dell, HP, IBM, IE, Citrix and Adobe (only for FLash and Shockwave).3:) You can create your own update catalogs by using SCUP as Eric pointed out)Bjrn Axell MVP - Advisec ABhttp://blog.advisec.com
