I havent used TS much but it has worked in the past, anyways recently I wanted to utlize the TS but I am unable to edit the TS. I have tried from an admin console not on the server and I have tried the admin console on the server. The steps I have taken are:Computer Management>OSD>Task Sequence>New TS>Create a new custom TS>enter TS name>select 86(or 64) boot image>Next>Next>finish. I can see the newly created TS. I highlight and click Edit and I receive an error window "an error occurred when loading the task sequence.". The only option is to click OK. Well still not sure what the actual error pretains to but i restarted the server and magic! So restarting the server worked, but if anyone can shed some light on the error message it will be good to know. thanks

Did you ever figure out something other than rebooting SCCM? I've gotten this twice now, and although I know rebooting works, it doesn't seem like a magical fix to me :|

It might be a problem with WMI on the site server (error 8004100a is critical error in WMI).. Try and restart the WMI service "net start winmgmt " or from services "Windows Management Instrumentation" Michael Petersen http://blog.coretech.dk/mip/
