I am learning SharePoint and have a virtual machine running Windows7 and SharePoint 2010. I set up about 4 users a few weeks ago and they seem to work OK. I have tried to set up some more users and they do not appear when I search for them to add them to groups etc. I think I have set them up in exactly the same way (Control Panel > Manage Another Account > Create Account). Any advice in either setting up users or making them so I can see them in SharePoint?
