Unable to write SPDistributedCache call usage entry

For some time now, I have had silent problems showing in my ULS Logs for a SharePoint 2013 Farm:

Unable to write SPDistributedCache call usage entry

Unable to write Service Call Usage entry

At first, I was concerned there was a problem with access to DistributedCache, and / or logs were full or disks were running out of space, etc.

I reset config cache on all WFE's as instructed and the errors persist.  What can I do to resolve these errors?

Hi,

For the message:Unable to write SPDistributedCache call usage entry:

Try to not use Farm account as the Distributed Cache Service account:

  1. Stopped the Distributed Cache Service instance via Central Admin.
  2. Ran the change-user script.
  3. Restarted Distributed Cache service instance
  4. The identity of the AppFabric service has been updated.

For the error message: Unable to write Service Call Usage entry.

Try to reset the timer services on the server or clear the config cache.

Also make sure your Usage data collection is enabled and log directory have enough space for it.
