Uninstall SCCM Admin Console
Sounds a rather simple question but has baffled me!!!
We have had an incident where by we are looking at uninstalling the admin console of machines that dont require it to be used.
However there does not seem to be an uninstall string for the admin console!!! in registry the string is :
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager Console\bin\i386\SETUP.EXE
Which is useless as that is the path to the program you use to remove it and if i tag on /? on the end i dont get an uninstall path.!
Surely they have not missed this out!
This is not on a server or anything just on an end point device that connects to the server with the admin console
Thanks in advanceLee Martin

It actually launches the ConfigMgr setup. You can find the list of command line options for this setup at the following link:

If you want to remove it silently, you could use the scripted console install/uninstall to remove it. You can get started using the following link:

Not sure if this will work... but if you look at the silent deploy method, can you basically set it up as an uninistall?

For anyone who needs to know this information, I found this with the help of Madans link above so thankyou for that:
The following will remove the sccm console:
{system Drive}:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager Console\bin\i386\SETUP.EXE /deinstall
Easy as that, shame they could not add that into the strings seeing as it works!!!!
Thanks Microsoft :)Lee Martin
