Updating SCCM to SP1...Issues

Hello All,

I have updated SCCM to SP1.

But i have noticed in my logs that i have a few failed tasks.

All these tasks have timed out....and eventually the updates was considered a success for some reason.

SCCM is up and running on SP1 but i am worried about the failed tasks.

The tasks that failed were the db task....this was because the sql db had failed over and the db failed to start up. So i had to manually bring them back up.

What i am asking is that how can i manually kick off the failed tasks?

Thanks

Those errors are taken out of context. What's listed later in the log? Does the connection succeed at all? My guess is yes, because setup would not proceed if it can't connect to the database.

Hello Torsten,

The database had to be manually started.

I only found out the database was not up after the SP1 install.
