Is it possible to view a document as a whole in SharePoint? Not like document preview but see the whole document without having to click a link to open it? Currently I've just been saving the Word docs as PNG's and uploading them as images so, but they have links in them that need to be accessed. 

Please let me know if I need to clarify this more.

I'm familiar with Image preview and from my understanding its basically just a thumbnail of the file. What I'm wanting is to view the document full size and be able to scroll thru and access links. So basically the page would be the Word doc like I have in the screenshot below, but right now its just an image. You cant access the links in the document.

Is my understanding of Image preview mislead?

you may have to look at a third part tool like KnoledgeLake. they seem to have some cool features of even comparing different documents.

basically for a short term fix you can use a page viewer web part, and paste in the URL from your view of the document and then it will load the document to a page. You can also edit this web part and override the height so more shows on the page at once. Not sure if you can remove the file menu etc. to clean it up if needed, but I bet there is a way.

Or an easier way is to use the Embed code it provides for iFrame in the lower right corner of the preview page, Then you can edit your SharePoint page and chose 'Insert' tab and embed code. Edit the embed code, you can change the size you want, and then for the action= in the URL change it to default. This will essentially do the same thing.
