Some questions about running WDS and SCCM on different servers: Any special considerations when the WDS server is not on the SCCM server? Where exactly are the two roles linked together? Do you have to perform some extra configuration on the WDS server in this case? Does it still allow running the MDT pxefilter?

This is a question we're currently also tackling. Even more since we need to work with multiple WDS servers (or at least more localized distribution shares)We've setup a test lab with an SCCM server. Now integrating MDT into it also but how do we scale this so we can have multiple deployment points in different (wan-linked) sites?For instance, our SCCM server is in DE but I have a WDS server standing in BE also which should also get the images we create.How would you configure SCCM so the Pxe boot etc automatically gets the correct (and closest) WDS server for deployment?is there some documentation available on this topic?M.P.

Sam problem. Did any of you succeeded in running this type of setup? It's been 3years and I am sure many should have crossed this bridge.
