WSS 3.0 MS Project Server Usage Metrics
Our team just installed a WSS 3.0 MS Project Server and the project team is interested in tracking usage of the server. Is there a tool (either built in or a purchased add-on) that allows us to view usage statistics for the MS Project side (not necessarily
on the WSS side)? For instance, we want to track how often project files are accessed or edited, or how often tasks are updated, etc. Thanks!

Hi,
According to your description, I suggest that you should use the tools-Project Management portal.
It allows you to create and track important project documentation. For more information, please refer to:

Hmmm, that tool seems to focus on tracking project documents/workflows. My needs are even simpler than that....I'm simply looking for some kind of page or dashboard add-on that tells me who is opening which MS Project Files (*.mpp) synced to the server,
and how often. Similar to the Site Usage Report built into WSS, but for the project files rather than for the WSS files/sites.
For instance, I can go into the Site Usage Report and see that my default.aspx page has been viewed X number of times, but I don't see the ability to see how many times my MyProject.mpp file I have synced to Project Server has been accessed.
Thanks anyway!
