Hello,Good news, you can customize a fair amount of the WYSIWYG editor, and there are some free controls you can also install like Telerik's RAD Editor.Easiest way I can think of is that you can probably replicate the 'look' of what you did by using styles and have these available to all users. Hi,The solutions that were discribed are for the MOSS version of sharepoint currently we have sharepoint services 3.0 (we are looking at the option to upgrade) However, could the changes to the editor be made in sharepoint 3.0 as well as in MOSS, if so, is it the same process to make those changes?I have not being able to make the changes as of yet!!Thank you

Good question. Some of these changes involve publishing controls (an example of one I guess I missed is reusable content). Specifically the embedded one I was talking about (that allows you to add resuable content, has a 'nicer' looking image browser and so on) I know for a fact is part of the publishing model (for web content management and is not part of WSS 3.0).I still think the styling item I talked about would work if you can add the content editor webpart to pages (which is WSS 3.0 im pretty sure). But it might be trickier to add/remove buttons. (This is the styling one again: http://sharepointkb.wordpress.com/2008/08/01/sharepoint-html-editor-styles/)One alternative I also just thought of might be exporting the webpart (once you set up the HTML). That way people could add the webpart and it could already be configured with the default HTML you want them to use. What we want is the new button,that will be added to the editor, to be available for use on all sites when a user is editing the page.The webpart option could be used but alot of our users havevery basic knowledge of Sharepoint and they only have contribute permissions, we don't want them to be able to add web parts or do any other customizations themselvesThe addition to the content editor would have to be made available to all sites, to addthis manually will be a lot of work If there are any other options toobtain the end result??!!The MOSS options do seem to be alot easier to carry out and maintain in the long run. WSS 3.0 doesn't seem to have the same flexibility in the design or am I wrong in this statement??
