activation failed with the following error: 0xC004B011

I just purchased the Office 365 bundle from Costco and I am using the various office products to do some work.  I keep getting a request to activate the software, but when I try I receive the following error message: "activation failed with the following error: 0xC004B011"

How do I activate the software and fix the issue?  It also hows "The activation server determined that your computer clock time is not correct. You must correct your clock before you can activate."  What time zone do I need to be set to activate the software?

I had this issue and fixed it: Just click the clock, and choose Change Date & time settings > Date and Time > Internet Time > click Change Settings > and finally click UPDATE TIME. I changed the server to time.windows.com and that's it. It took me two attempts at clicking update time and it then said time updated successfully. Activation works fine afterwards.

Perfect!!!! THANKS!!!

After spending hours with many MS support chats none of them could fix the issue. Reinstalled and deactivated and re did the lot and remote sessions etc. - drove me mad. Then did what you said and activated the clock a few times until it updated and boom! done!!!!
