Hi, You could create a rule that updates the register with SCE agent. But I think the recommended way would be to do this with a group policy. Thanks AndersIs it possible to apply the group policy without users having to log off and then on again ?Also so far when weve tried the pcs seem to want to revert back to the 'your text goes here' message rather than the one we chose. It seems with SCE it wants to apply the change to the admin account and not the local user so maybe weve been editing the wrong part of the registryThanks thoughRussps is there an MSI package you can recommend (I do see that youre a Microsoft MVP) but wondered if there are other options to Windows own one

Hi, I think computer settings are applied when the computer reboots/starts and user settings are applied when a user logon. There is no issue with configure the screensaver with a group policy, just make sure you link the group policy to the correct OU. -- Anders BengtssonMicrosoft MVP - Ops Mgrwww.contoso.se "Russ Dawson" wrote in message news:c0cc7a5b-163e-422 c-9083-c1c39d26a6cc...Thanks AndersIs it possible to apply the group policy without users having to log off and then on again ?Also so far when weve tried the pcs seem to want to revert back to the 'your text goes here' message rather than the one we chose.
