Hi Allcan you use SCE to change the registry settings for the marquee screensaver so instead of it reading your text goes here we can use some other text insteadwant to deploy this across 400 pcs as quickly as possible ThanksRuss

Hi,
You could create a rule that updates
the register
with SCE agent. But I think the recommended way would be to do this with
a group
policy. Take a look at http://

Thanks AndersIs it possible to apply the group policy without users having to log off and then on again ?Also so far when weve tried the pcs seem to want to revert back to the 'your text goes here' message rather than the one we chose. It seems with SCE it wants to apply the change to the admin account and not the local user so maybe weve been editing the wrong part of the registryThanks thoughRussps is there an MSI package you can recommend (I do see that youre a Microsoft MVP) but wondered if there are other options to Windows own one

Hi,
I think computer settings are applied
when the
computer reboots/starts and user settings are applied when a user logon.
There
is no issue with configure the screensaver with a group policy, just
make sure
you link the group policy to the correct OU.
