I intend to get a report to see all the checked out items. but its not showing any items even though there are few documents that are checked out.

I suppose you click the link Manage checked out files in document library setting page. Actually, the Manage checked out files is meant to display all never-checked-in-files. You could create a view to display files that are currently checked-out:1. Access to the document library2. Select “Create View” from the right pull down menu3. Select “Standard View”4. Give a name to the view and go to the “Filter” section: a. From the “Show the items when column” list select “Checked Out To” b. From the following list select “is greater than or equal to” c.
