client won't install - even when run manually
Having trouble installing the client manually. I keep getting an access denied error in the ccmsetup.log file where it can't access the source. I then created a new folder on the Primary server and placed all of the client files there.
I then gave Domain Users and Domain Computers FULL rights to this new share. From a client machine I connected to this new share: \\Servername\SCCMClient$ and then I dragged the ccmsetup.exe into a CMD window and passed it SMSSITECODE=
value.
I still get an access denied on the source. Why? what can cause this? I connected to the share and manually ran the ccmsetup.exe so what can't it do/find?mqh7

You have set the Sharing permission, but how about the Security settings?
Troubleshooting that you can perform, give everyone full control in the Sharing Permission and Security Settings. Then try to install again :)
