Hi , I am getting multiple results(duplicate) for single document when i search in moss 2007 document library.For example my attachment name is 13904.PDF. when i search for 13904, it is giving two results instead of one.This is happening on few site collection not for all. Thanks.

Are you sure that 13904.PDF file is not located at multiple locations? S it is not located at multiple location.i have checked the url it is same. when i checked the XML of the result, 13904.pdf work id is different but having same url. What is work id?

I have checked the Remove Duplicate Results check box.Nothing helped

HI i have checked the crawl log.some url were repeated.Because root site collection is having the child site with the same name as the site collection.so it has crawled again.
