eDirectory MA can't refresh schema
I'm running FIM 2010 RC1 with Update 3. The same issue was there with Update 2. In my setup I have a eDirectory management agent and in the eDirectory tree the schema is extended with GroupWise and some custom made attributes. I can't get access to those attributes. When I try to use "Refresh Schema" action I get the following: Retrieving the management agent data ... Retrieving the management agent data complete Retrieving the new schema ... An error was encountered during the schema refresh. Please try again later. Any ideas? With regards, Pjuske Rasmussen

I found the solution in this article : In order to get access schema extensions you have to enable nonStdClientSchemaCompatMode in eDirectory. The change can be made through iManager: Under "Directory Administration" and "Modify Object" you open the LDAP Server object of the server your eDirectory management agent connects to. Under the "General" tab you click on "Other". Pick "nonStdClientSchemaCompatMode" and click on "Edit". Choose "Nonstandard Client Schema Compatible Mode" and click "Ok".
