failure limit for event 1103
Hi folks ,
We are testing new customized mp and we want to change the failures limit that cause the rules to get unloaded (event 1103) , where and how we can change it ? and can we change it for specific rules ? can we temporarly disable or ignore "failure
limit" event to avoid getting the rule unloaded?
we can change the mp rule's settings to prevent the rule getting unloaded but we are under testing phase and we want to know if there's another way or work around from client side or server side WITHOUT changing rules settings.
thanks buddies in Advance

If your rules error out because of a script or configuration error, you can reset the count by restarting the healthservice.
If you are in active development, suggest you always restart the health service after each updated (and version incremented) MP update.
For script based rules, you should test them outside of the SCOM environment at first and disable all error handling so you can see when errors are happening in your scripts.Microsoft Corporation

Hi,
I am not aware of a way to do that, without restarting the health service. It has been discuss in a couple of threads, but I think the answer was been restart the service.Anders Bengtsson | Microsoft PFE | blog at http://www.contoso.se
