header RepeatOnNewPage does not work
Hi, I can't get the table header to repeat on every new page, i've tried setting RepeatOnNewPage and FixedData to true for the static row group. I have also tried setting KeepWithGroup to both Before and After, but nothing works. I have one parent and one child group.

Hi,
Are you using Reporting Services 2008? You need more work on this. First of all, remove drill down for test (if implement the drill down). After, that, follow the below steps:
[quote]
1. in the grouping pane, click on thesmall triangle and select "Advanced Mode" to show static members:
2. verify that you have the properties grid turned on (in BI Development Studio use F4, in Report Builder go to the "View" tab and select "Properties")
3. select the corresponding (static) item in the row group hierarchy
4. in the properties grid:- set RepeatOnNewPage to true for repeating headers- set FixedData to true for keeping headers visible
[quote]
For more information, here is a document wrote by Robert M. Bruckner
Hope this helps.

Hi Raymond, I have a similar problem. I have 3 groups on the page and Details group and I am trying to repeat headers for the first two groups on every new page. And whatever you said does not work. I actually was not aware of Advanced, so I was setting these properties directly in XML, but either way Designer or XML it does not work. When I have only 2 groups and Details then it does work, but details part keeps splitting between pages, I like it to be together on one page. So what should I do?

This is in fact a bug. The answer above is incorrect. You can get the fix pre-Sp1 in the Cumulative Update Package 4 for SQL 2008or post SP1 in the Cumulative Update Package 1 for SQL 2008 SP1The KB on this bug is here:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/967162/They also have a workaround in case you don't want to install the update.I have installed the CU1 and confirmed the bug is squashed.Good Luck!

I had this problem as well and applied the update and it only seems to resolve the issue if there is at least one visible row in the details sections. This issue still exists for me when all rows in the details section are hidden. My summarized reports have no visible row in the details section. Only headers and footer totals. Anyone else have this problem?
