location of stored packages
In the initial configuration of a newly installed SCCM site server which is also a Software distribution point, I went to the Component Configuration and Software Distribution Point. In the general tab, there is a chance to specify the "location of stored packages". If I fill in with F:\, does it mean all packages created in the future will be stored in F:\ drive? Thanks.

Yes. But this isn't talking about the source file location as specified on each package or the actual distribution point location. It is an intermediary location used between copying the package source files as specified in each package to the DP(s): http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb694187.aspx.
