Well, Here are different options you have. Create another web application and Map to the one that you are using for internal. Once done, you can control the authentication on the extended web app the way You want. Windows Authentication will let them leverage Active Directory, but forms authentication gives you freedom to have them authenticated from another LDAP source like ADAM etc. You can also think of going forward with Anonymous if you want and Publish the new extended web app to internet. So this way you can control the external users and authentication without touching your internal infrastructure. Thanks!I LOVE MS..... All you'd really have to do is just make sure DNS could hit the box and the web application is using an Internet routable host header. Of course you also have to make sure your licenses are in order (SharePoint, Windows Server, SQL Server). Most likely SharePoint is installed on a domain, so as long as your internal users can still authenticate to the box you'll be fine. I'd just caution about repurposing your intranet site as your Internet site. Normally Internet sites are more heavily styled and there are different security concerns. So whatever you do just make sure you put a good plan together for how it will all work.John SharePoint911: SharePoint Consulting Blog: http://www.rossonmoss.com Twitter: JohnRossJr MOSS Explained: An Information Workers Deep Dive into Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
