The publish option on ssrs 2008 r2 does not work. Due do that fact, can you tell me what to look into to see where the problem lies? Could there be a permissions problems?

Hi Wendy, There could be a permission issue, certainly. Also/or it could be an incorrect path. Or the target is offline, or may be there is a firewall restriction in place, especially if you deploy there for the 1st time. As you can see now, there could be dozen of possible nuances preventing you from deploying the report. However, in any case, to determine or narrow down at least, to a possible cause the complete error message is necessary.
