restoring fwp using stsadm
I'm trying to restore a backup I have of my old site I was running out of space on my main hard drive so I wanted to move it over to another local drive. I did the smigrate utlity and created a .fwp file placing that file in a location on the new drive. I then uninstalled the old WSS 3.0 and installed the new WSS 3.0 on the brand new hard drive then after the site was running I ran the stsadm utility to try and restore my fwp file on the new site but it keeps throwing up an error [11/14/2007 3:05:44 PM]: Warning: Import requirement file C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\08537272-8bc0-4075-aaec-56065aed4abb\Requirements.xml was not found no verifications ran.[11/14/2007 3:05:44 PM]: FatalError: Could not find file 'C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\08537272-8bc0-4075-aaec-56065aed4abb\ExportSettings.xml'. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) that is listed in the log file. I am using windows sharepoint services 3.0 along with the Windows integrated database that is included with the setup file. Am I doing something wrong here or how would I be able to restore my site? Thanks for any help narcispy
