You are missing the hotfix in KB951526, which updates a .dll containing SNMP functionality used in Essentials. Apply this fix, or KB957511 (which supercedes the original) and you will be all set. Also, download the latest version of the Network Device Monitoring MP published to the System Center Pack Catalog in March 09.Pete Zerger, MVP-MOM | http://www.systemcenterforum.org

I installed: You are missing the hotfix in KB951526, which updates a .dll containing SNMP functionality used in Essentials. Apply this fix, or KB957511 (which supercedes the original) and you will be all set. Version number is now exactly the same as in the update. After the install i hava got in a few hours 5 times the alert: root managment server unavailable. It is running it says but with limited functionality, reason code 43. Has this problem still got to do with the network devices? Everytime i close the alert it come right back to me several times. The second update: the one network device monitoring MP i cannot install because i first must remove the dependency MP's this is: distributed applications. I first like to know if this is done without problems and can i easely install the distributed applications... freddie
