sccm client install (client push)
Hi,I have a question about the client installation. I don't undertstand why it happens, or maybe this is normal:When I set the Site Settings/Client Installation Methods/Client Push Installation and Enable Client Push Installation for Workstations it immediately starts to push the clients. (without the decision of which collection of computers should be installed with client push method). Are there any setting to change this?Thank You in advance!Zolee

You can set the properties for client push installation like ccmsetup MSI paremeters and the push accounts, but not check the "Enable Client Push ..." checkbox. This will not automatically install clients to all discovered resources in your site. You can, however, push to a collection if you want to push to a large number of resources at a time by creating a collection and right-clicking on that colleciton to select install client. This way, you can prevent the mass automatical client push installations (by unchecking the checkbox that I mentioned aove) but still have a choice to push clients to a large number of resources at one time (by pushing to a collection).Thanks,Minh.Minh
