setup for Site Report Analysis
can any one tell me what should be the correct inputs to get a site report? (no. of people who visited the site, Top users, Top sites...etc)What I currently have is:from Central administration-->Operatoins --> Usage Analysis ProcessingEnable Usage Analysis processing (Checked)Run processing between these times daily:Start: 1 amEnd: 1 pmand for the scheduling: from central administration --> operations --> information management policy usage reportEnable recuring policy usage report (Checked)DailyBetween: 1 Am To 2 AMAre those settings are correct?!

the usage reporting in SSP is enabled alreadyfrom where can i activate the reporting feature in the site collection?I can get the report of a site but the figures and numbers displayed are incorrect (i guess!!)for example: it says the the distinct users yesterday = 15!! which is unbelievable... the site is accessed daily by all employee (over 1000!!)Is the problem with the start and end time that i entered in the enable usage analysis processing?!!

HI,-To activate Reporting feature, go to site collection features -> activate reporting feature.- while enabling recuring policy usage report , you (Checked) Daily, then put values ( Between: ) say 8Am to 5 Pm working day hour .Best Regrads, Ahmed Madany

Thanks Khan It seems that the report gives a wrong readings!! although all the setup is correct, Once expert guy told me that the usage analysis report in sharepoint is not accurate, and if i want to get an accurate result i have to code it.
