hi we have domain in our network our sharepoint server itself on workgroup machine so i try to get backup of all farm but when i give backup file location it give error msg that Directory \\sharepoint\Backup does not exist or the SQL Server service account and the SHAREPOINT\Administrator service account do not have permission to read or write to the backup folder. Specify a different directory or ensure that the SharePoint Timer service and Microsoft SQL Server service accounts have Full Control permission on both the file share and the underlying folder so this directory is located in local machine i have given permission to administrator sytem thx in advance

Hi, as the error message states you have to grant read/write permissions for the SQL Service Account and Farm Admin Account (Timer Job Account). You can check in the Windows Services of the Server which account is used to run the desired services. For SharePoint look "SharePoint Timer" and for SQL Server look for the service called SQL Server (instance name).
