Hi everyone,
My requirement is to collect some specific information from some of the persons.For this I have created a survey to collect data and then i extended that site to internet and mapped to public ip.But now here probem is , when clicking on sign in,it is not repsonding ,sign in prompt is not coming after some that it displaying blank page.
Please let me know is there mistake in IIS configurationor in browser settings...

Based on your description, you cant sign in when accessing the site when accessing the site.

I suggest to check whether you open the SharePoint 2010 website for Internet access correctly, for more information: http://mroffice365.com/2011/10/how-to-open-a-sharepoint-2010-website-for-internet-access/

Then try to access the site, if you still cant sign in ,I suggest to remove the manually created public URL and extend the web application into the desired zone with the appropriate public URL and host header settings. This will automatically create a public URL in the alternate access mapping collection of the web application which the users can then use to access the site, for more information: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2624320/en-us
