steadystate creates multiple user name files
I have windows steady state installed on several of my computers "all XP PRO"I have 2 accounts on each computer that steady state controls, each account name folder in documents and settings is multiplying, "IE.... account name, account name orig, account name 01, account name 02 and so forth" It seems like it has done it for the amount of days that it has been installed. IE... account name 30, would have had steady state controlling it for 30 days. how can i stop this file duplication? Is it because Microsoft updates every night and due to changes it duplicates the user file due to system changes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Freebyrd15, have you enabled "lock" user account function in Windows SteadyState? When you choose “Lock profile to prevent the user from making permanent changes” option, SteadyState will change the ntuser.dat of the corresponding user profile to ntuser.man (mandatory profile) and rename the profile folder to <UserName>.orig. The form "account name" + "No." should be by design after enabling this function in SteadyState. Sean Zhu - MSFT
