stsadm -o trimauditlog not working
All,I'm trying to do some maintenance on the AuditData table which has grown out of control. I found the stsadm trimauditlog command to do so. However when I run it (and I'm supplying every parameter, even the optional ones, with correct values) the response says the command was successful, however the table in the database remains unchanged. Anyone have any suggestions how I can get this command to work?~Lou

Hey Lou, If this is not working you may want to look at getting the code from this example and running it on your system. This is the pre-infrastructure update code but may work for you.http://blogs.msdn.com/sowmyancs/archive/2008/05/29/create-a-tool-or-interface-to-delete-the-audit-log-from-content-db-of-an-auditing-enabled-sharepoint-site.aspxLiam

Hi Liam,Good suggestion. Unfortunately, custom development is not really an option.~Lou
