I have 2 task sequences but i am not sure what is the difference while executing. someone explain me difference advantages & disadvantages , how smsts log will differ a) Adding machines into the collection advertisement is format & install Win 7 b) PXE boot (direct) c) Migration from Windows XP to Win7 (refresh)

a) smsts.log will not tell anything about adding a machine to a collection b)/c) smsts.log will tell details about the execurtion of the task sequence. Some steps or groups are skipped depending on the conditions of them. Just walk through the tasksequence and examine the properties of each group.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de
