When I try to update or create a new boot image with "deploy this boot image from the PXE-enabled distribution point" option enabled it failed. When I don't use this option the content status succeeded.

All ready removed WDS en DP role and reinstalled it. No luck.

Installed config mgr sp1 cu1 and cu2, no luck.

Do you have the proper AV exceptions in place? To my knowledge, Over-aggressive AV products do cause exactly what you are seeing.

You can easily test by just disabling the AV product and trying to redistribute the boot image.

You disabled AV on the DP?

Have you removed the image completely from the DP and then tried to redistribute?

Yes diabled AV on the DP and removed the boot image completely in the managament console...create image again and distribute the content to the DP.

Is this happening on all boot images or just one?

Have you reviewed the event logs on the DP?

Have you used procmon on the DP to see if it registers any specific access type errors?

Happens with all boot images. I have one primary site server with the DP role on it.

What logs files do I need to check? distmgr.log and smspxe.log or more?
