what is an .snt file?
I see an .snt file in my recycle bin for a particular site. Could someone please tell me what it is/does?There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you're are trying to accomplish.

The SNT file type is primarily associated with 'Sticky Notes' by Microsoft Corporation and when you do a backup and restore operation for a site from SharePoint Designer, the SPD creates
a .cmp and .stp files. --Cheers

Prasath - the site in question that has this .snt file in its recycle bin was indeed created through the restore process using a .cmp file. What function does the .snt file perform during restore? I'm assuming that it is okay to delete it from
the recycle bin? There are no mistakes; every result tells you something of value about what you're are trying to accomplish.

I guess that .snt file is a supporting file for .cmp during restore process and believe its okay to delete it from the recycle bin.--Cheers
