2003 viewing calendars in scheduling
Hi, I recently built a second Exchange 2003 server, to replace old hardware. The 2 are currently running but everything or everything I thought had been moved to new serevr. However I have realised if the mailstore/public folders on old server gets dismounted, no one can see other peoples calendars in scheduling. How do I move whatever I need to move to stop this happening? Many thanks

actually , think I have found what I need to do. Create a replica of the public folder "SCHEDULE+ FREE BUSY " on the new server.

Yes, free/busy information in Exchange 2003 is stred in public folder "SCHEDULE+ FREE BUSY ", we need to replicate it. To replace the fist Exchagne server, I'd sggest you refer to the following articles: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822931 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/152959 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833396 Actually, it is recommene to upgrade to Exchange 2010 server since Exchagne 2003 will soon be out of supported. http://support.microsoft.com/lifecycle/search/default.aspx?sort=PN&alpha=exchange+server&Filter=FilterNO Fiona Liao TechNet Community Support
