2007/2010 Public Folder migration
Hi,
Current set up - 2007
Prod server has Public folder (MBX1-2007)
DR server has Public Folder (MBX2-2007)
Want to remove existing replication between the 2 2007 PFs and add 2010 (MBX1-2010) as a new partner.
Would this be a sane approach ?
On 2007 servers
.\RemoveReplicaFromPFRecursive.ps1 Server MBX1-2007 TopPublicFolder \ ServerToRemove MBX2-2007
wait 4 hours or so
On 2010 servers
MoveAllReplicas.ps1 -Server MBX1-2007 -NewServer MBX1-2010Is there more to this?Thanks

Hi ,
Why do you want to move public folder to Exchange 2010 ?
If you want to
decommission the exchange 2007.
The following steps we need to do.
Move mailbox.
Move public folder/replication public folder
Change OAB generate server
And how to replicate public folder, the following article for your reference .

Hi That is a very good question, I have tried to convince client to remove PFs from the org however they have an in-house app which is tied into the PFs.
Thanks for the link. I think in my situation ( and based on the article) I may do the following:
./ReplaceReplicaOnPFRecursive.ps1 Server srv-ex07-01 -TopPublicFolder \Foldername ServerToRemove srv-ex-07-02 ServerToAdd srv-ex10-03
then
./MoveAllReplicas.ps1 Server srv-ex07-01 NewServer srv-ex10-03
although I don't know if the last command may complain as there are already replicas in place?
Thanks
