30 duplicate Emails
I have a 2007 Exchange Server. All users are using Outlook 2003. The users are located in a remote site. One user sent and email to 7 users and each user recieved the email 30 times. Each email had a different message id also. Has anyone ever seen this before? Would anyone know where i should check to see what is going on. I have already checked the message tracking system and it only showed as being sent once. Any help is appreciated.

Please check the header of the message. It seems that the message was stuck in the trasport queue and was delivered 30 times. This is usually due to corrupt message. You cannot track such messages in the tracking log.You can only view such mesages in the queue when they are being delivered.

HiI supply you with several ways to test the causes of this problem,1.Clean the "Rules and Alerts" from the "Tools" menu,2.Check the duplicate E-mail accounts and distribute list,3.Whether you active the function of keeping a copy on server4.Extending the time interval between sync.5.Use/Not use cached Exchange ModeThanks,Any updates let us know.Bobo

I have had my help desk run Win updates, symantec scans and have done most of what everyone has mentioned. It seems to be narrowed down to one pc which we are going to format. If anyone has any last ditch ideas before we format this thing please let me know.

A little bit more info. The emails that are being sent 30 times show up in the users sent items folder. They seems to be sending for seconds apartIn message tracking i noticed they have the same messade ID but different "internal message ID's"Also the last duplicate that is sent seems to be sent anywhere from 13-16 minutes AFTER the first 25-30 duplicates are sent.
