550-RPT-UNK: Recipient unknown
Hi thereAnyone have any advice on what to tell a grumpy yet influential member of staff on the reasoning for the "Delivery has failed to theserecipients or Distribution Lists" message. Far below the message you can see that it says in grey font "Recipient Unknown" but he is arguing that this information should be visible in the black font'ed text that is more evident at the top of the NDR. Theoretically I can see his point, but in practiseI suspect it would be very difficult and time-consuming for MSoft to develop a different template and "logic engine" for the many potential scenarios where an NDR may be generated thus and thus enabling a more specific message templateto be delivered. His point is that "resending" the offending email is never going to work if the email address is incorrect in the first place.Any thoughts appreciated (And why do I have these users!)
